Our program is designated as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence through the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery.  This designation gives us the ability to perform weight loss surgery, such as roux-en-y gastric bypass and Lap-Band® to patients with Medicare.

At the Midwest Institute of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery the care does not stop after you have had surgery. A support group is available for patients who have had surgery and people who are considering having surgery. Hosted by Angela Schreiber, PA-C, the support groups will be held monthly.
